What a hotel occupancy sensor switch does
A hotel occupancy sensor switch powers the room by detecting a person, not by reading a card. The occupancy sensor switch turns lights and AC on when someone enters and off after they leave — useful in rooms where guests lose the card, and in meeting rooms with walk-in traffic.
PIR vs mmWave presence-detection switch
A PIR occupancy sensor switch is low-cost and detects motion; an mmWave presence-detection switch detects still presence (breathing-level), so it does not power off on a sleeping guest. Both feed a 30A relay that controls the full room circuit.
- Card-free — the hotel occupancy sensor switch needs no card to operate.
- Detection choice — PIR for motion, mmWave for still-occupancy.
- Door linkage — a door-contact linkage switch mode cuts power the instant an empty room's door closes.
How the hotel occupancy sensor switch works
The sensor sees presence → the occupancy sensor switch closes the 30A relay → room powers up. Presence ends (or the door closes on an empty room) → configurable hold → circuit opens. The presence-detection switch mode is the most automatic form of room energy saving.

Applications
- Guest rooms — a hotel occupancy sensor switch for card-free, forget-proof energy saving.
- Meeting and public rooms — an occupancy sensor switch that powers down between bookings.
- Tight-loop savings — a door-contact linkage switch that cuts power the moment an empty room is closed.
Certifications and export
CE and RoHS certified. The presence-detection switch ships with compliance documents; sampling in 7–10 days, mass production in 20–30 days via FOB Shenzhen, CIF, or DDP. OEM detection tuning and door-linkage wiring available at MOQ.
